Check-in started off a bit frustrating. I was given a room that didn’t match my reservation, leading to multiple trips back to reception. The room itself had one queen bed and one single bed, which the staff initially hesitated to provide. Eventually, I got a different room, but it felt tiring to sort out. On the plus side, the location of New Merryland impressed me. It’s a short walk to downtown and nearby restaurants. I enjoyed breakfast, especially the fresh pancakes and omelettes. The staff genuinely wanted feedback and seemed attentive. However, I noticed the water pressure in the shower was low, and the beds were not as comfortable as expected, with uneven mattresses. Despite these issues, the room remained clean and the overall hotel ambience was calm, giving it a premium feel. They helped arrange a taxi transfer to the airport, which was appreciated. Overall, some improvements could be made on comfort, but I would still recommend the hotel.

A 30-minute walk for food options!!! WiFi was unreliable at times!!! The shower leaks, which isn't ideal!!! Perhaps invest in better shower fixtures!!!

I had such a lovely stay here with a clean, well-equipped room, and I really appreciated the thoughtful departing gift from the staff. I stayed in a Standard Single Room for 1 night and it was perfect for my needs. Super quiet, blocking out all the loud Independence Day celebrations outside. The room was clean and comfy, and I got a great night’s sleep. Ahmad upgraded me, which was a nice surprise, and the location made it easy to explore nearby attractions like the King Abdullah I mosque. Definitely a cozy stay!
